Maintenance Engineer Pertemps are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer on a 3-month fixed-term contract. Pay Rate: £20 per hour We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious engineer with mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience to support the operation and maintenance of renewable energy equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant running of plant operations, helping to convert organic food waste into clean energy. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical and PLC systems Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete reactive repairs to minimise downtime Maintain and support specialist equipment, including CHP units, Grid Entry Units and biogas compressors Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety and environmental procedures Monitor operational performance, recording data relating to gas quality, temperature control and feedstock management Participate in on-call...
