Cleveland-Cliffs, Butler Works, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the development, management, and successful implementation of project engineering for assignments covering all aspects of our Cold Mill Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a complex environment.
Summary of Responsibilities
+ Identify process improvements and/or critical equipment/facility replacements to produce a quality and competitive commercial product.
+ Organize, prioritize, plan, develop, manage and implement projects for new and improved facilities and processes with an emphasis on meeting strategic goals and needs.
+ Maintain corporate safety compliance with associated designs, furnished equipment, contractor installation techniques and field installation activities
