What you will be doing
The work: As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll help maintain high equipment availability while supporting our strong food safety and hygiene standards. Working a rotating double day shift pattern and reporting to the Engineering Shift Team Leader, you’ll help minimise production downtime through quick response times and proactive maintenance.
- Engineering & Maintenance: Provide hands‑on mechanical and electrical support across our butchery, curing and sealing machinery, including de-rinders, injectors and vacuum sealers.
- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and use root cause analysis to help reduce unplanned downtime.
- Working with Production: Support daily production targets by working closely with the Production, Hygiene and Quality teams during line changeovers and equipment set ups.
