Job Description

This is a newly created Maintenance Engineer position and visible role with the ability to assist with leadership responsibilities.

  • Will be the leader on the mechanical integrity program including PM schedules, equipment inspection, and repair plans.
  • Rank rotating and fixed equipment based on breakdown risk to ensure safety-critical assets are managed.
  •  Participate in asset health reviews regarding pumps, valves, and piping.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on bad actors. 
  • Justify funding for major upgrades.
  • Manage the CMMS.
  • Own the Management of Change Process.
  • Work directly with vendors and contractors.
  • 5+ years of maintenance or reliability engineering experience working in a heavy industry.
  • Experience with rotating equipment. Fixed equipment experience is a plus.
  • Experience using a Computer Maintenance Management System
