Maintenance Custodian - Temporary - 40 hrs/week

Overview
This position is responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of schools and adjacent grounds to keep schools safe and well maintained. This includes maintaining cleanliness, minor repairs and snow clearing. This position is also responsible for keeping all building components in good condition through preventative maintenance and reporting all damage or breakdown in heating, plumbing, ventilation, electrical or hardware components requiring Central Office staff or outside contractors to correct. Heavy lifting may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information System.
