Overview
Maintenance Crew Chief | North Cariboo Air
Compensation: CA$48.00 – CA$58.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Oversee a team of AMEs and technicians, providing technical guidance, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet project deadlines.
- Maintenance Execution: Direct and perform line and base maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with approved manuals.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work meets Transport Canada standards and company SMS (Safety Management System) protocols; maintain a “safety-first” culture on the floor.
- Technical Documentation: Review and certify maintenance release; ensure all logbooks, tasks, work packages are accurately completed and signed off.
- Resource Management: Coordinate with the stores department for parts procurement and manage specialized tooling to prevent downtime.
