Maintenance assistant (mould fitter)

Job Purpose

To meticulously assemble and disassemble moulds for the manufacturing process. Responsible for maintaining, repairing and modifying moulds to ensure optimal performance and production efficiency.

Requirements for Applicants

Educational: Possession of Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science as a minimum requirement Certified C02 Welder

Additional Forklift License will be advantageous Familiarity with different types of moulds and their respective components Proficient in using hand and power tools for the installation, repair and maintenance of moulds Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience in aluminium welding Experience in general maintenance and engineering

Experiential Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mould fitting or related field in a manufacturing environment Key Performance Areas
