Mainframe RACF Administrator

Responsible for RACF administration, user access lifecycle management, MFA support, and audit/compliance activities in a z/OS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain RACF user lifecycle:
• Create, modify, revoke, and delete user IDs
• Handle access provisioning, renewals, and removals
• Maintain RACF groups, roles, and access controls (RBAC)
• Provision and manage user access to datasets and system resources using RACF
• Support MFA setup and troubleshooting (RACF + AD integration)
• Manage certificates and key rings (basic operations)
• Generate audit reports and support compliance reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve access/security issues
• Use tools such as TSO/ISPF, Vanguard

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of hands-on RACF administration & should be able to work independently.
• Experience with TSO/ISPF and basic JCL
