Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DB2 DBA to support mission-critical applications and databases across DEV, UAT, and Production environments.
Responsibilities- Review and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot database issues, SQL errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support database deployments, migrations, and releases.
- Perform database tuning, statistics updates, and tablespace maintenance.
- Collaborate with application teams on database design and best practices.
- 5+ years of DB2 DBA experience.
- Strong SQL tuning and performance optimization skills.
- Experience supporting application databases in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and migration processes.
- Experience with JCL, VSAM, and Mainframe DB2 is highly preferred.
