**Machinist – Haas & Mazak CNC**
**About the Role**
We’re looking for a skilled Machinist to set up and operate Haas and Mazak CNC mills and lathes. You’ll run multiple machines, perform light programming, and ensure every part meets exact specifications. This is a contract‑to‑hire role with strong long‑term growth potential as our machine room expands.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Set up and operate Haas and Mazak CNC mills and lathes
+ Run multiple CNC machines at the same time while maintaining quality
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
+ Perform light programming and edits using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls
+ Select and install tooling for drilling, threading, boring, and keyway operations
+ Make offsets and adjustments during machining
+ Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
+ Perform basic machine maintenance and keep a clean, organized work area
+ Lift and move materials/parts up to 50 lbs
