Job Summary A Machine Tool Operator sets up, operates, and maintains production machinery to produce precision parts per blueprints and quality standards while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workflow. Responsibilities Calibrate, configure, and operate CNC machines, lathes, or mills to complete production cycles accurately Measure finished parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify conformance to specifications Perform routine troubleshooting, cleaning, lubrication, and safety inspections to maintain machine functionality and safety Monitor machine settings including speed, temperature, and pressure, adjusting as needed to sustain product quality and production output Record production data, material usage, and machine downtime accurately for operational tracking Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to guide machining processes Apply basic mathematics to calculate measurements and adjustments during production Stand for extended p...
