**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to set up and operate machines, ensuring the precise grinding and cutting of steel. This role involves reading industrial knife blueprints, performing quality checks, and completing Statistical Process Control Charts (SPCs).
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up machines and change tooling or saw blades to grind/cut steel.
+ Use specialized saws or hand tools effectively.
+ Utilize calipers and micrometers, understanding fractions and decimals.
+ Read and interpret industrial knife blueprints.
+ Perform quality checks and complete SPCs for all assignments.
+ Load and unload steel from machines, maintain coolant levels, and empty swarf.
+ Ensure general cleaning of machines and work area.
+ Work with a high sense of urgency and follow all safety protocols.
+ Provide support and training to others as needed.
