Responsibilities
- Sorting, loading and unloading waste skips; operating delivery vehicles for tipping, removal and loading conveyor belts for waste sorting.
- General yard tidying and skip moving.
- Loading screeners and crushers.
- General maintenance of static plant (basic checks, greasing, air filters, radiators and health and safety checks).
- Ad‑hoc duties requested by the Manager, including general yard maintenance and vehicle washing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Suitably certified for specific machinery.
- Effective and confident communication skills.
- Experience within the waste and recycling sector is desirable.
