Job Description
Long Term Occasional Assignment (OECTA)
A teacher position to provide coverage for a teacher on leave at a designated school.
Responsibilities
- Cover a teacher on leave in the assigned class or school.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
- Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.
Salary
The salary of each teacher shall be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement.
Effective September 1, 2025, teacher salaries will range from $51,234.00 to $119,943.00.
