EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time, direct-hire LTL Dispatcher for one of our partners, a busy Chicago-area logistics and freight-handling operation that keeps air and ground freight moving around the clock. In this position, you will run the evening dispatch desk, coordinating drivers and shipments so freight stays on schedule from pickup through final delivery. It is a fast, high-volume role for someone who likes owning the board and keeping every load accounted for. Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer demand and daily operational needs. Track and trace shipments from pickup through final delivery, and keep milestone and status updates current in company systems. Communicate constantly with drivers, warehouse personnel, customers, carriers, and airlines by phone and email.
