The scope of this role is to support importers and exporters in meeting customs requirements for international shipments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import and export of goods.
- Accountable for accurate and timely declaration.
- Ensure all documents are submitted timely to customs for audit.
- Periodical training / updates on the customs matters.
- Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI).
- Operational troubleshooting.
- Non‑conformance reporting in accordance with the KPIs.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of any discipline or 3-5 years of experience in customs declaration matters within the freight forwarding industry.
