Job Description
Drive company lorry to deliver goods to customers, sites, warehouses and other locations as arranged.
Assist in loading and unloading goods; ensure items are handled carefully and safely.
Check quantity and condition of goods during collection and delivery; report any shortage or damage.
Ensure goods are properly secured on the lorry to prevent movement or damage during transportation.
Follow delivery schedule, plan routes and complete deliveries on time.
Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of the lorry; inform supervisor of any defects or servicing needs.
Comply with all traffic rules, road safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in simple warehouse / general duties when there is no delivery (e.g. packing, arranging goods).
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.
