Job Description
Archbishop Denis O'Connor C.H.S. invites applications for a full-time LTO teacher in World Studies. Engage learners through CGC1W1 and CHV2O1/GLC2O1 from September 2026 to June 2027.
This position requires teaching two sections of each course, ensuring an enriching educational experience. Candidates must have a current certification from the Ontario College of Teachers alongside Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications. The competitive salary will be based on the individual’s QECO category and teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classes for CGC1W1 and CHV2O1/GLC2O1 effectively
• Design and implement dynamic lesson plans tailored to student needs
• Assess and report on student performance regularly
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to improve curriculum
• Create a welcoming environment for all learners
