Job Description
Logistics, Transportation & Customs Specialist
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and optimize inbound (raw materials and components) and outbound (finished goods) logistics for domestic and international movements.
- Manage all customs documentation and ensure strict compliance for inventory transfers between Sollum sites, contract manufacturers (CMs), and thirdβparty warehousing partners (3PLs).
- Negotiate freight charges (spot rates) on a daily basis and evaluate routing options to optimize total transportation costs and transit times.
- Proactively track shipments, identify potential transit delays, and collaborate on corrective action plans to secure production timelines.
- Oversee the logistics for returns (RMA) and equipment replacements in close collaboration with the technical support team.
