Job DescriptionThe UK’s largest company within their industry is looking for a Linux Support Engineer. You will work as a 2nd/3rd line support analyst and also support 1st line. You must have strong experience of Linux support and knowledge of Windows. You will liaise with external suppliers, the ICT team and business managers while reporting to the senior infrastructure analyst.
Responsibilities Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Cent OS, Ubuntu). Support Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 8, Server 2003/2012). Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Exchange 2003/2013 email servers. Configure and maintain LAN/WAN architecture, including Cisco routers and Sophos firewalls.
