Job Description
Role: Linux Administrator
Required Technical Skill Set: Unix/Linux Administrator
Desired Experience Range:5-10 years
Location: Noida
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
Knowledge of Installation, Administration and Troubleshooting of RHEL/SUSE Linux and various Installlation techniques
Knowledge of NIS, LDAP, DNS and DHCP.
Knowledged of server Hardware like Dell/Cisco/HP/IBM etc
Knowledge of Kernel parametres and security policies, RBAC etc
Knowledge of shell scripting (BASH/C), Python/Perl would be added.
Knowledge of basic SAN/NAS/NFS storage management.
Strong knowledge of RHEL/SLES OS Administration and commands.
Strong knowledge in OS Patching (SMT/Yast/2upgrade/SCC) etc.
Knowledged of Step/Online migration for various OS versions .
Working within the Oracle/RDBMS/RMAN/DB on day to day basis.
Excellent knowledge of FS/Log/Kernel Management
Thorough knowledge of VMware concept (Vcenter/ESXi)...
