Job Description
JOB SPECIFICATION: REGISTERED LIFTING MACHINERY INSPECTOR
DEPARTMENT: Operations Department
LOCATION: Gqeberha
JOB SUMMARY: Primarily conduct Statutory Inspections across Wind Farms in SA according to manufactures specification. Conduct basic maintenance, repairs and snagging on turbine components, in accordance with Client requirements and manage the teams accordingly during projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be registered Lifting Machinery Inspector with Engineering Council (ECSA) with the following scopes: Lifting Tackle, Chain Block & Lever Hoists
- Valid driver’s License Code 08 to drive from site to site
- Pre-employment Medically Fit Certificate for working at heights and confined spaces
- Must be comfortable with heights and be able to lift heavy equipment
- Intermediate level in MS Office
- Trade Tested in mechanical/electrical/millwright
