Position Purpose
This position will lead part of the Mexicali accounting team that may include any of the following groups: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax and/or Treasury functions. The accounting lead will report directly to the accounting manager.
Previous experience leading teams (preferred).
ERP systems.
Fully bilingual (able to communicate fluently in English).
Essential Functions
- Assign daily, weekly, monthly tasks to the team, establishing priorities by position.
- Review prepayroll, payroll and employee payments every week.
- Review weekly accounts payables, confirming the accuracy internal controls.
- Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
- Review the tax payments.
- Correct issues identified in various account reconciliations.
