Overview
Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN at our rural hospital, you will work in a variety of areas including a 10-bed ER, a 19-bed acute care unit, a 10-bed Goal-oriented active living unit, and a busy labor and delivery area. You will be a vital part of our collaborative health-care team. Previous experience will be valuable in transitioning to the rural nurse role; however, mentorship and education opportunities will be provided to increase competence and confidence. You are expected to provide secure and competent care in a collaborative, family-centered approach. As a member of our team, you will be flexible in the area you work as priorities change rapidly among units.
