This is an exciting opportunity to train as a perioperative nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse Operating Room Technician (LPN ORT) is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with CLPNA (College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta), ORNAC (Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada) and CSA (Canadian Standards Association) standards of practice. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, thorough critical thinking, problem solving & decision making as well as teach, counsel & advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
