Required to start 1st September 2026 to 14th February 2027
The Learning Community is seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support learners across the secondary phase on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
Our ideal candidate will be patient, calm and resilient professionals who can work effectively with children presenting with a range of needs. They will ideally have previous experience of working with vulnerable learners of secondary school age although relevant training will be given. They will be confident in implementing strategies at an individual pupil or classroom level encouraging learners to reach their potential and share a positive learning experience as they move towards adulthood. They will work within a supportive team and under the direction of the Class Teacher and Assistant Headteacher and other key professionals in order to remove barriers to learning.
