Job Description
The Level 1 SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and triaging security-relevant alerts and reports originating from clients’ infrastructure. This includes identifying the type of incident, determining the severity of the attack, and applying incident response measures based on Playbooks. Communicating with client’s security teams and system owners, the Tier 1 Analyst will suggest the appropriate actions for containment and eradication of security incidents, in a timely and accurate fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day expertise on proper handling of security events.
- Respond to and confirm security incidents within the targeted framework.
- Adhere to documented escalation, process, and communication plans.
- Communicating objective findings (written and oral) to Level 2 Analysts.
- Provide technical investigative reports to the management team.
