Job Description
Become a key part of community service as a Letter Carrier with Canada Post. This role requires sorting, delivering mail, and managing logistics in varied weather.
As a Letter Carrier, your day will start at the depot, where you'll sort and prepare your deliveries. Responsibilities include driving a postal vehicle and delivering items to customers efficiently. You will return to the depot to sort incoming mail, ensuring that all packages are accounted for.
Key Responsibilities:
• Start the day sorting mail at the depot
• Drive and handle Canada Post delivery vehicles
• Deliver mail and packages to designated routes
• Unload incoming mail back at the depot
• Work in different weather conditions
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver's license with 3 years of safe driving
• Physical capability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
• Availability for on-call delivery work
