We deliver billions of items to Canadians each year. In this role you may be called upon to do on‑call delivery agent or on‑call postal clerk work.

Roles

• On‑call delivery agent (letter carrier): face of Canada Post, ensure customers receive mail and parcels.
• On‑call postal clerk: work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends), learn about mail operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Delivery Agent:

• Start day in depot, sort and prepare daily deliveries.
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages by foot or vehicle to customers on route.
• Return to depot to unload incoming mail and packages.

As a Postal Clerk:

• Work inside sorting facility; sort mail and packages.
