Job Description
Learning Support Teacher (Competition No. T -BSS)
East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Learning Support Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.
This is a full-time temporary contract position. Duties commence on August 26, 2026, and the contract will terminate on February 28, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and supports IPP and EAL creation and implementation
- Supervises all educational assistants
- Oversee inclusive programming resources and spaces
- Member of committee for hiring educational assistants
- Liaise with specialists such as SLP and OT
- Support teachers with universal, differentiated, and EAL strategies
- Attends divisional and provincial professional development training and administrative meetings as directed by the Inclusive Education Coordinator
