Job Description
Learning Support Assistant
Willow Dene, a special school in Plumstead, is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who will work as a member of a class team and wider school team. The role involves supporting children aged 2-19 with a range of learning needs, working under the direction of the Teacher and Senior Teaching Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intimate care for pupils.
- Assist with managing challenging behaviour.
- Participate in physical activities such as swimming and PE.
- Work as part of a team to deliver inclusive education.
Qualifications and Requirements
The role is Grade 2, SCP 3. It requires a successful DBS check, satisfactory probationary period, and medical clearance.
Working Hours
- Monday: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
