We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support our partner schools across Newport. This flexible role is ideal if you want to choose the days you work, gain experience across different settings,

You’ll work across Early Years, Primary and/or Secondary settings, supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping with classroom routines, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils with learning activities, either 1:1 or in small groups.
  • Assisting the class teacher with behaviour, routines and resources.
  • Bringing calm, structure and positivity to busy classrooms.
  • Adapting quickly to different school environments and year groups.
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND) where required.
