Tasks
The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) provides 1:1, small group and classroom support for learners with additional educational, behavioural, social or emotional needs. Working under the direction of the Lead Tutor and SENDCo, the LSA promotes learner independence, participation and achievement within an inclusive learning environment.
The post is for 22.4 hours per week, part time, fixed term. Salary is £12,723.75 (FTE £26,390)
Requirements
Key qualification, skills and experience
- Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent)
- Patient, calm and resilient.
- Empathetic and learner-centred.
