We’re supporting primary schools in Barking & Dagenham with a dedicated SEND unit, and they’re looking for a warm, patient and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You’ll be working with pupils aged 3–11 with mild needs, making a real impact on their day-to-day school experience.

What you’ll be doing


  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (academic, social, emotional or behavioural)
  • Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to deliver engaging, accessible learning
  • Helping children stay focused, confident and happy in class
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed
  • Building trusting, positive relationships with pupils, helping them feel safe and understood
