Job Description
Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Specialist Education Settings
£14.75 per hour.
Teaching Personnel are recruiting full-time Learning Support Assistants across specialist education settings in the following sites: Fawley, Dibden, Totton, Ower.
These schools support children and young people aged 7–16 with severe and complex needs including life trauma, autistic spectrum conditions, attachment disorder and phobias linked to education. Class sizes are small, no more than four students per class, with every class supported by a Teacher and either an LSA or pastoral support staff.
The Role
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm.
- Support students academically and emotionally.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Help students regulate emotions, engage with learning and develop confidence.
- Work as part of a close-knit and supportive team.
