Job Description
Five Education are looking for a caring and reliable Learning Mentor to support pupils in schools in Yeovil, with a particular focus on supporting children with autism. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, understanding, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs within the classroom. The school has great facilities and friendly, supportive staff.
The role includes:
- Supporting pupils with autism, either 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping pupils engage with learning activities and daily routines
- Encouraging communication, independence, and positive behaviour
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with autism (professional or personal)
- Is calm, patient, and nurturing
- Can adapt to individual needs and structured routines
