Summary This position is located in Police Service. The primary purpose of the position is to lead a team of Security Assistants responsible for monitoring physical security equipment and systems. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Instructs staff on specific tasks and provides guidance and technical direction; maintains current knowledge of procedures, policies, and directives Assists supervisor in planning work schedules, distributing assignments, and balancing workloads Works closely with and coaches subordinate staff with varying levels of training/expertise in identifying parameters of viable solutions Identifies problem areas and takes steps to resolve situations. Monitors working conditions for safety and security.
