Job Description

JOB SUMMARY


The Lead Process Engineer is responsible for delivery of the engineering Process and Mechanical design outputs for projects and, where requested, bid proposals. He/she will be responsible for the technical scope of the project/proposal (or, in some cases, a sub-area of the scope). 


For the scope area for which they are responsible, the Lead Project Engineer must:

  • Provide leadership to engineers working on that area.

  • Function as the interface point for customers and, also, the SPX internal organization.

  • Propose / update the execution strategy within the project life to get the most relevant & efficient team.

  • Ensure adherence with relevant SPX Flow procedures and practices (. IDEFs)

  • Manage the engineering process to ensure outputs meet schedule, budgetary and quality requirements.
