Advance your engineering career as the Lead Piping/Pipeline Engineer managing projects from concept to construction. You will establish design philosophies, execute plans, and lead development tasks in this key role.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Alberta. With over 12 years of piping engineering experience, especially in SAGD and gas plant projects, you will lead the design and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your ability to mentor junior engineers and manage project resources will be vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead piping design and material selection on projects
• Ensure piping systems meet fluid and pressure requirements
• Conduct pipe wall thickness and hydrotest calculations
• Manage budget, schedule, and change across projects
• Develop and maintain engineering procedures and standards
Requirements:
