Be the Agriculture Irrigation Systems and Maintenance Lead at Bylands Nurseries in West Kelowna, BC. This vital full-time role guarantees the performance of vital irrigation systems in our nurseries and gardens.
In this hands-on position, you will oversee routine maintenance and repairs on complex irrigation systems, including pumps and filters. Your focus on adjusting and monitoring irrigation settings, along with troubleshooting mechanical issues, is key to supporting plant health across our greenhouse and outdoor environments. An enjoyment of practical challenges is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain irrigation systems efficiently
• Monitor and adjust watering for optimal plant growth
• Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation malfunctions
• Manage irrigation materials and parts
• Perform maintenance on agricultural and horticultural equipment
Requirements:
• At least 2 years maintenance experience in agriculture or greenhouse
