Become a Lead Estimator focused on utility infrastructure projects in Scugog, Ontario. Your role is crucial for delivering accurate cost estimates that support successful project bids.
This permanent, full-time position reports to the Estimating Manager. As a Lead Estimator, you will prepare and oversee cost estimates by evaluating material, labor, and other project costs. Your collaboration with engineers, vendors, and internal teams will ensure that all project estimates meet high standards of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review project documents to assess scope and risks
• Prepare cost estimates with input from various sources
• Supervise bid lifecycle and Junior Estimators’ work
• Manage the tendering and quotation procedures
• Identify risks and develop contingency strategies
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost estimating
