**Job Description Summary**
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Support the install base of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) and FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) systems with a focus on FSCs (fixed series capacitors). Lead technical aspect on multi-year service contracts for FACTS technologies, maintaining operation, maintenance and reliability of customer FACTS substation equipment. Actively promote a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining open communication and providing pro-active attention to customer requirements. Provide insight on systems maloperation and equipment failure by analyzing event logs and transient records, and providing solutions to potential issues. Support site team during commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting activities on FACTS systems, reviewing site plans and providing technical direction during site activities.
