Job Description
Responsibilities
- Own the design of existing, new and/or non-standard product packages and develop technical solutions to meet the demands of assignments.
- Produce designs of enhanced “quality” (functionality, durability etc.) with responsibility for entire XMT and Wellhead products
- Evaluate the relevant design rules/procedures/standards within OneSubsea and propose changes and improvements to a more senior team member.
- Delegate responsibility for individual parts of design work to less experienced colleagues as appropriate, and when more innovative solutions are required will escalate for review by a senior team member for implementation.
- Act as an escalation point for key issues/designs which require approval at this level.
- Formally review the designs of less experienced engineers.
