Job Description
**Alaska Waste** , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Lead Driver to join our team in **Sitka, AK!**
The schedule will be Monday to Friday, 5am or 8am depending on the day. 8-9 hours a day. With some required weekend work.
The starting rate for a CDL or Non-CDL holding applicant will be $32.00 to $37.00 per hour depending on experience. **We are also offering a Stay on Bonus of $5,000, paid out within your first year of employment.**
In addition to performing driving and transfer station duties, the Lead Driver is responsible for providing personnel supervision and development, including training, scheduling, coaching, safety leadership, and fostering positive employee morale.
