Job Title: Lead Data Engineer
Project Location: Toronto/Vancouver (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months
Relevant Experience: 10+ yrs
Domain (Industry): Cards and Payments
Mandatory skills : Databricks, Python, Pyspark. SQL, Big Data, Apache Airflow
Desired skills : Build data pipelines & working with RDBMS, NoSQL, Java
Job Description:
- 10 years in data engineering/big data, with strong experience in Databricks, and distributed data systems
- Strong expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy), PySpark and SQL
- Strong background in data modeling, large-scale processing, and BI ecosystems
- Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow/NiFi)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Databricks preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data pipelines
