Job Description
Take the lead on bids for industrial automation with Willowglen Systems in Edmonton or Calgary. Oversee the entire bid lifecycle, ensuring risk control and accurate estimating every step of the way.
In this technical commercial leadership role, you will manage the full bid process for projects involving SCADA, RTU, PLC, and systems integration. You will perform in-depth bid analysis and establish pricing strategies to protect margins. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll design automation solutions and validate technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead bid lifecycle from RFP receipt to submission
• Conduct bid/no-bid assessments for strategic alignment
• Establish pricing strategies to protect gross margin
• Present margin analyses at bid review gates
• Collaborate with engineers to create complete automation solutions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Electrical or related Engineering
• 4+ years in proposal development and estimating
