Job Description

Our client, an established Australian gold producer and developer, is seeking an experienced Core Logging Geologist to join their team on a short-term FIFO assignment from Perth. This is an opportunity to join a business with strong recent operational momentum, Australian producing assets, and ongoing growth/development exposure.

Requirements;

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid RC and diamond drill rig knowledge (essential)
  • Good understanding of QA/QC practices
  • Experience with Datamine, Leapfrog and/or ArcGIS Pro will be highly regarded

    • Position Duties:

  • Manage core yard activities, including core receipt, tray management, metre checks, sampling, photography and dispatch, with a focus on helping clear any existing core logging and sampling backlog
