An opportunity is available for two experienced Core Yard / Sample Technicians to join an established gold mining operation in Western Australia.

Working on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth, approximately 70% of the role will be based in the core yard, with the remaining 30% focused on MOP and toll-treatment sampling at the ROM.

This is a casual contract through to October, with the potential for further work for strong performers.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing and preparing diamond drill core
• Core orientation, metre marking, photography and recoveries
• Magnetic susceptibility, RQD and density measurements
• Core cutting, sampling and sample preparation
• RC and diamond drill sample handling
• Collecting and preparing MOP and toll-treatment samples
