Job Description
Join NordSpace as a Laser Powder Bed Fusion Technician specializing in metal additive manufacturing. You'll handle operations from setup to post-processing in an aerospace-focused environment.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end operation of LPBF systems and will closely collaborate with design engineers on build processes for the Tundra launch vehicle. Managing metal powder safety and inventory is critical, along with adhering to stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate metal 3D printing systems throughout the build cycle
• Develop and document metal alloy build parameters
• Manage full lifecycle of metal powders safely
• Oversee post-processing and inspections of components
• Perform preventive maintenance on LPBF systems
Requirements:
• Diploma in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Over 4 years of experience in additive manufacturing
