Laser Machine Operator

Full-time production

CNC laser cutting machine operation and set-up. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. CNC programming and parameter adjustment, where applicable. Machine calibration and preventive maintenance. Quality control and dimensional inspection. Knowledge of nesting software and material-utilisation optimisation. Knowledge of workplace safety, PPE, and safe machine operation. Teamwork and collaboration. Requirements Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production Option). At least 23 years experience operating a CNC laser cutting machine in a manufacturing environment. Experience in CNC programming and machine set-up is an added advantage. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC control systems.
